This policy describes the current information practices of Bay Sale Ready, an independent informational website. “Bay Sale Ready,” “we,” and “us” refer to this website.

Question-list choices and city navigation
Property-type and timing choices are processed in the visitor's browser. The site does not transmit those two choices to Bay Sale Ready, create a user account, or store them in an application database. Changing city requests the corresponding city page, such as /oakland, /hayward, or /san-francisco. That requested URL may be processed in ordinary hosting and security logs as described below.
Technical information
Hosting and security providers may automatically process an IP address, requested page or URL, browser and device information, timestamp, referring page, and security or error events. This information is used to deliver and protect the site, prevent abuse, and investigate technical problems. It is not used by Bay Sale Ready for advertising, behavioral profiles, provider matching, or lead generation.
Cookies and tracking
Bay Sale Ready does not use analytics, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or application cookies. Hosting or security providers may use cookies or similar technology necessary to deliver or protect the site. Because the site does not conduct cross-site behavioral tracking or sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not cause a different site experience.
If you email hello@baysaleready.com, the email service receives your email address, message, attachments, and ordinary email metadata. Email is used only for factual corrections, privacy or accessibility requests, security matters, and general site questions. Do not send property addresses, transaction documents, identity documents, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other sensitive personal information. Property-specific service requests are not forwarded to professionals.
Service providers and disclosure
Hosting, security, and email providers may process limited information to provide those functions. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or address fraud, abuse, or a security incident. Bay Sale Ready does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
Provider logs are retained under applicable provider settings, which may change. Where Bay Sale Ready controls retention, information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Email is deleted when no longer reasonably needed, subject to legitimate security, legal, and backup limitations.
External links
External government, agency, licensing, and professional websites have their own terms and privacy practices. An external site may receive ordinary request information when a visitor follows a link. Bay Sale Ready does not receive information that a visitor submits directly to an external site.
Requests and children
To ask about information contained in email correspondence or request its deletion, email hello@baysaleready.com. Requests are subject to reasonable identity verification and applicable legal, security, retention, and backup limitations. If applicable law provides additional rights, requests will be handled as required by that law. The site is intended for adults researching real-property transactions; it is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly solicit information from children.
Changes
The August 3, 2026 update introduced the site's free public-testing status. The August 4, 2026 update completed this revision record; the information practices described in this policy did not change in either update. Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
