Bay Sale Ready is an independent informational website currently available as a free public test. It is not a law firm, real estate brokerage, government agency, contractor referral service, or compliance service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any city, government agency, utility, licensing board, or professional appearing in an external resource linked from this site.
What this site provides
The site organizes selected general information from identified government and agency sources. It is intended to help users prepare questions and locate the official place to verify a requirement. It does not review property records, title documents, contracts, permits, certificates, HOA documents, or the facts of a particular transaction.
No individualized determination
Question-list choices produce general prompts only. A label or summary does not determine that a rule applies or does not apply, that an exception is available, that a deadline has been met, that a document is valid, or that a property may be transferred or closed. The responsible agency and appropriate licensed professionals evaluate the facts of a particular matter.
Sources and changes
Each published topic identifies its source and source-specific review date. The last completed registered-source review cycle ended on July 27, 2026 and covered 62 sources. Sources added after that cycle carry later individual dates. The next cycle is scheduled for August 26, 2026. That schedule is not a freshness guarantee. Laws, agency instructions, forms, fees, portals, interpretations, and professional status can change at any time.

No professional relationship
The site does not provide legal, real estate, engineering, inspection, contracting, brokerage, referral, or compliance services. Use of the site or sending an email does not create an attorney-client, broker-client, advisory, agency, fiduciary, contractor, or other professional relationship.
Browser choices and city pages
Property-type and timing choices are processed only in the visitor's browser session and are not saved to an account or used to issue a determination. Changing city opens the corresponding city page, so the city is part of the requested URL and may appear in ordinary hosting logs as described in the Privacy Policy.
Free public testing
During public testing, Bay Sale Ready charges no fee to use the site and requires no payment or card. Official city or agency fees and third-party costs are separate. Any future paid access would require updated terms and a user's prospective, explicit choice; it would not create a retroactive charge for this test. Bay Sale Ready does not currently sell advertising, sponsorships, listings, leads, referrals, user information, or services, accept payment from users or professionals, rank providers, or receive referral compensation.
Accessibility
We aim to make the site usable with keyboard navigation and common assistive technologies. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email hello@baysaleready.com and identify the page and problem. This describes an ongoing effort and is not a certification of conformance with a particular accessibility standard.
